We run on 4 Shopify Sites and 2 Amazon marketplaces. We need a eCommerce Manager to join our team to optimize our sites and work with keep up with our expanding product lines and fast pace of growth
What we’re looking for? If you are an enthusiastic and energetic self starter, have technical experience managing and merchandising Shopify websites, as well as experience optimizing website SEO and UX/UI to enhance the eCommerce shopping experience, then we have an exciting opportunity for you. This is a full-time role located near Yonge and Lawrence, Toronto. Responsibilities: -Implement SEO best practices, audit projects for SEO & make recommendations -Support UX/UI designers to help create the most efficient customer journey -Create strategic eCommerce merchandising plan -Engage with developers while supporting product designers, marketers, and customer service by providing reports and analysis. -Use site analytics to plan and develop initiatives that will improve engagement, maximize conversion, increase site traffic and achieve sales goals -Execute the creation of all product pages -Test new site fixes and features, and liaise with developers / vendors -Analyze competitors on an ad hoc/seasonal basis, identifying opportunities that may help improve the customer proposition of the website -Work with the marketing team to manage online pricing strategies such as markdowns and promotions -Ensure that out of stock returns are kept to a minimum and actively monitored -Devise more efficient methods to process refunds / issue packing slips -Week over week review of analytics to ensure growth from previous period -Report key findings regarding performance of units per category -Analyze category needs, identify areas of opportunity, and provide constructive feedback to the content and marketing teams -Monitor organic and referral traffic conversions -Plan months in advance for specific high volume periods and coordinate with respective teams including marketing & logistics -Plan for product launches and evaluate / improve launches
-Minimum Bachelor’s level degree -Minimum 3 years experience in eCommerce -Proactive self-starter with a sense of accountability and integrity -A good understanding of digital marketing -Knowledge of Shopify and inventory management -Possess strong understanding of the relationships between page views, conversion and other relevant web based KPIs, and action information accordingly -Quantitative / analytical skills balanced with passion to improve digital customer experience -Passionate about digital and using data to drive decisions -Strong interpersonal skills -Extremely high level of energy, creativity, and sense of urgency -Excellent communication skills with a demonstrated ability to convey insights from complex analysis to non-technical business users at varying levels of quantitative familiarity -Experience with eCommerce analytics software tools such as Google Analytics -Outstanding organizational skills, self-motivated, creative problem solver with a high attention to detail -Dedication to continual self improvement and learning Bonus (Nice to have skills): -Front end development skills -Experience with Zaius -Work at Digital Native Brand -Experience with Shopify liquid
